State of Being Massage Therapy ("we," "us") is a mobile massage therapy business serving Fort Lauderdale, Florida and nearby areas. This page explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you send an inquiry through the form on this site, we collect what you choose to enter:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address and phone number
- Your city or neighborhood, and whether you'd like us to come to a home, hotel, office or other location
- The service, date and time you're interested in, and whether you've had a session with us before
- Anything you write in the message box, such as areas of tension, injuries, pregnancy or pressure preferences
Health details are always optional. Please share only what helps us plan a safe, comfortable session. We'll ask anything else we need directly before your appointment.
If you call, text or email us, we also receive your phone number or email address and whatever you include in your message.
Information collected automatically
We don't use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or social media pixels on this site. Like most websites, the companies that host and support it may automatically receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. They use it to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How we use your information
- To reply to your inquiry and schedule your appointment
- To plan your session safely, including travel to your location
- To contact you about your appointment, such as confirmations or changes
- To keep basic client records for our practice
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that run this website and deliver your inquiry to us:
- Formspree receives form submissions and emails them to us.
- Netlify hosts this website.
- Google provides the fonts on this site and our business email (Gmail).
- Cloudflare (cdnjs) delivers a small animation library the site uses.
Each of these companies handles data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of a client, our therapist or others.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries and client records only as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and professional record-keeping obligations. After that, we delete them.
How we protect it
This site uses a secure (https) connection, and we protect the accounts that receive your information with strong passwords and two-step login. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so please don't include payment card numbers or other highly sensitive details in the form.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time. Email stateofbeingsnt@gmail.com or call or text (786) 791-8047, and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through this site. Massage for a minor must be arranged by a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
